Tens of thousands of fans will pack the streets through the Commons to witness the Oracle Red Bull Racing Showcar racing on city streets.  This past week, we kicked-off project 1 of 3 in support of this city-stopping moment.  Our team brought the Red Bull Showrun to life at the country’s busiest regional gathering, the Minnesota State Fair. 

In its static form, the RB14 was on full display on the angle/elevated platform we procured, which enabled fair goers to see the F1 car from hundreds of feet away.  Flanking the racecar along the backdrop wall were mounted images which highlighted some of the best Red Bull Showrun moments in the United States, including it’s first time when the bull escaped the ranch and took the first laps at the Circuit of the Americas.  To give fans a preview of what the RB7 showcar will sound like, we featured a series of Red Bull Showrun high-revving highlights on a monitor, with headphones so you could hear the power.  To ensure fairgoers could share the memory with friends (as well as take it howe with them), there was a photobooth experience with the car and driver images which could be shared digitally as well as printed out.  800+ motorsports fans were able to share their moment next to the thunderous RB14, complete with printed and digital reminders of the upcoming moment to see the Red Bull Showrun Minneapolis live.  To ensure the car felt at home as day turned to night, the entire activation was lit so the RB14 blended in perfect with the fair’s thrill rides at night.
